A Musical Offering
Get a taste of the extraordinary professional talent that
teaches our successful music students! This fundraiser
offers an eclectic program from the unabashed
Romanticism of Beethoven and Schumann to the
percussive sounds of the 20th century.

This hilarious, tummy-tickling performance features
comedic material that is created while you watch!
Theatre Arts students will offer up improv twists on
politics, the environment and popular culture. Don’t
be surprised if you’re asked to shout out a scene
suggestion or provide a line of dialogue for this “handson”
theatrical experience. Tickets $5.00 (Cheap date!)

Beethoven and Brahms
The Moorpark Symphony Orchestra will perform
all four movements of Symphony No. 5 by Ludwig van
Beethoven, and Symphony No. 2 in D Major by Johannes
Brahms.

The Sandstorm
Stories from the Front
By Sean Huze
Written by a veteran of the Iraq war, the play provides
a forum for Marines to tell their brutally candid, heartwrenching
stories. The play does not address politics,
but instead focuses on the psychological impact of war.

O Mother Earth, O Father Sky
A multi-media performance with audience interaction
which deals with environmental issues and asserts that
Man is an integral part of nature. A lecture by biology
professor Jana Johnson follows the performance. Ticket
sales will support the “Butterfly Projects” at Moorpark
College which aim to save two California butterfly
species from extinction.

The majestic Wind Ensemble shares the stage with
intimate mixed chamber groups of piano, winds and

funk. The Jazz Ensemble and Studio Band will get you

Holiday Extravaganza
A collaborative effort by Music, Theatre Arts and
Dance students to usher in the holiday season and raise
money for the Performing Arts program. It’s sure to
melt the heart of every “Scrooge” you know, so bring

coffers for our future performances!
