Publication Department Wins Award for 40th Anniversary Book
The Moorpark College Publications Department received a gold award from the In-Plant Printing & Mailing Association (IPMA) and In-Plant Graphics Magazine. The award recognizes excellence in design and printing. The winning entry was the 40th Anniversary Retrospective book produced for Moorpark College’s 40th celebration during the 2007/08 academic year. Institutional Advancement Officer Jeanne M. Brown, Graphic Designer Janeene Nagaoka and Graphics student, Stephanie Ferguson designed the piece. Graphic Communications Technician Kerry Mehle produced it on the department’s digital color printer. Kerry attended the IPMA annual educational conference this past June in Rochester, N.Y., where he accepted the award.
