On September 8th, in its season-opening football game, Moorpark College will celebrate its 40th birthday, and Griffin Stadium's 20th anniversary. As part of the festivities, the Athletic Department will honor members of all its first teams--first football, basketball, tennis, golf... If you played or know of anyone that played on any first team at Moorpark College, please contact Athletic Director Howard Davis at (805) 378-1457 or hdavis@vcccd.edu to be invited and included in the festivities. The Athletic Department will also host other ceremonies throughout the year to honor and pay tribute to its rich athletic history and the individuals that contributed to its beginnings. If individuals know of people outside the area that should be included, please forward that contact information to the Athletic Department.
