The Dance Department at Moorpark College presents its Summer Dance Concert as part of the Summer Arts Festival, an evening of original works by student choreographers, guest artists and select faculty on August 9, 10 and 11 at 8:00pm.
“We invite the community to come and share our love of dance and to say goodbye to some of our students, who will be leaving Moorpark College to continue their educational studies at various colleges and universities. It is also a time of welcoming our newest full time faculty member, Beth Megill, she will performs a solo entitled ‘Redlight.’ Join Me in welcoming Beth into our department and to Moorpark College.” said Robert Salas, Director of Dance at Moorpark College.
The student choreographers presenting works for the Summer Dance Concert are Christine Kerrigan, Imani White, Deanna Hallum, and Kristin Rice. Faculty choreographers include Jennifer DeBritton Ward, Beth Megill, Nancy Paradis, and Robert Salas. Also presenting choreography will be guest artist Christopher Smith.

Concert tickets are $16. Students/Seniors/Staff are $9. To purchase tickets for Summer Dance Concert, contact the Performing Arts Center Box Office at (805) 378-1485 on Tuesday – Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm. Tickets may also be purchased on line at www.moorparkcollege.edu/pac.
