Radiologic Technology Students Succeed
Graduates of the May 2008 Radiologic Technology class had a 100% pass rate on their board certification exam. Ninety two percent found full-time employment six months after graduation. There is currently a two-year waiting period to get into the program. The program accepts 32 students per year.
West Hills Hospital & Medical Center Supports MC Nursing
In December, West Hills Hospital & Medical Center hired Moorpark College nursing graduates for five of their six available positions. For the second consecutive year, West Hill is sponsoring a scholarship program for our students. In Summer 2008, West Hills awarded $72,600 to cover tuition and expenses for five students. They have pledged $92,900 for the Summer 2009 scholarships. |
