Annual Spring Spectacular Event
Spring Spectacular 2011 will be held the weekends of - March 26, 27 and April 2, 3, 9, 10
10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays. Come and see...."Once Upon a Twisted Tail"
Visit the Fairy Tale world with some of your favorite stories and animal friends. See Cinderella, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood, Robin Hood, Little Miss Muffet and others. Help the animals put these stories back the way they should be, and of course, no story would be complete without a Wicked Witch that our animal heroes must overcome.
Spring Spectacular Events:
- Eye to Eye
Get up close and personal with some of the Zoo's favorite animals.
- Creature Feature:
Special Guests from the animal industry. (See the list below for a partial guest listing)
- Kids' Zone:
Fun, Games & Lots of Prizes. Dig for buried treasure, temporary tatoos, face painting, bean bag toss, and more.
- VIP Tours:
Behind the scenes of America's Teaching Zoo and the EATM Program. Visit our back areas, not normally seen by the public.
- Raffles, Food, & Fun for the entire family!
Some of the vendors will be - "Concerned People for Animals," "M&W Gourmet Foods," "Code 3 Concessions," "Cookie Lee," Cheetah Conservation Fund," and more.
