The entire community is invited to Moorpark College for a free and fun event on September 8th. Moorpark College will celebrate its 40th birthday, and Griffin Stadium's 22nd anniversary with a Kickoff Party and football game. Starting at 4 pm, you can enjoy history information booths, buy food and memorabilia, enjoy live jazz and meet the Seabees the US Naval Construction Battalion that helped build the stadium in 1985.
As a special treat, guests will see the exciting new Raider Athletic logo mascot unveiled for the first time and meet two of the Blue Raiders on horseback.
Every guest will be welcomed at the gate at 4 pm with a free temporary Raider tattoo and a pack of 40th anniversary MC mints.
The opening ceremony starts at 4:45 pm. The game against Saddleback College is at 5 pm. |
