The 4th Annual Business Expo is a student organized event that brings industry professionals to talk to business majors about the myriad of opportunities in the field. Presentations include Finance by Financial Pointe President Elad Goren, Human Resources by Ken Barry of Semtech, Marketing by Jessica Migdol of JD Power and Associates, Economics by Josh Epstein of Baxter Pharmaceuticals, Jobs and Internships by the Career Center's Audrey Furrell and Accounting by Michael Sparks of Katz, Katz and Sparks. The event begins at 8 am with registration and welcoming remarks in the Performing Arts Center. During registration, students will select three career workshops to attend in Fountain Hall.
Bill Watkins, Ph. D., of the UCSB Economic Forescast Project will deliver the keynote address at noon in the Performing Arts Center. Immediately following the keynote, a free pizza lunch will be served in the Campus Center.
