Award- Winning Jazz Band to Hold Auditions and Feature Combos
Hoping to expand opportunities for aspiring musical professionals, instructor Robert Aguilar is holding Jazz Band A auditions on August 11 at 6 pm in the Music Building, room 109. He is also planning to form combos from within Jazz Band A this fall.
Jazz Band A is a college class that runs fall and spring with a jazz workshop over the summer. The Fall class will be held on Tuesday evenings.
“This award-winning Reno Jazz Festival winner consistently places in the top five of among community college bands throughout the United States,” says Aguilar.
The band has performed at various functions though out county and competes nationally.
Moorpark College Jazz Band A concerts are typically held in December and May.
