MOORPARK COLLEGE HOSTING ANNUAL TRANSFER DAY ON SEPTEMBER 21
Over 50 universities (UC, CSU, private, and out-of-state) will be attending Moorpark College’s Annual Transfer Day on Tuesday, September 21, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Quad area on campus at 7075 Campus Road, Moorpark. Representatives will provide information on transfer programs and requirements. Students will have an opportunity to meet with several universities during the day, and the public is invited to attend.
Individuals must sign up for afternoon workshops as space is limited. Contact the Career Transfer Center in Fountain Hall, Room 110, at (805) 378-1536 or mctransfer@vcccd.edu.

USC: 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management: 5:15-6:15 p.m.
California community college students applying to the University of California this fall should consider filing an application for a Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG). Basic requirements are a 3.0 GPA, 30 units of transferable community college courses, plus other restrictions determined by each of the seven participating campuses. (UCLA and UC Berkeley do not have TAGs.) The TAG application deadline is September 30, 2010. The online application is available at https://uctag.universityofcalifornia.edu/. TAG application workshops will be conducted in the Moorpark College Career Transfer Center September 7 through September 30.
