College Reaches Out to Adults
Getting Started at Moorpark College, an orientation workshop for adults, is set for Thursday, June 5th at 6pm in the Applied Arts Forum.
Whatever your reasons are for returning to college, Moorpark can help. Moorpark offers an accelerated degree program called PACE. Child care and financial aid are available.
Among the instructional programs featured at the workshop will be:
Biotechnology, Business, Computer Network Systems Engineering, Radio /Television and Interior Design.
Moorpark College offers nearly 100 programs; some prepare for careers in two years or less, others prepare students to transfer to a university after completing 60 units. Classes are offered year-round and weekend and distance education options are well suited for those with family or employment obligations.
Summer classes begin June 16 and fall classes begin August 18 and September 15. Applications are accepted online anytime at www.moorparkcollege.edu/apply.
