Burghardt is a stage and screen actor who won an Emmy award in 1972 for his portrayal of Frederick Douglass in a play he wrote called, "Frederick Douglass...Through His Words." His first movie appearance was as the Great Ahmed Kahn in the 1976 film Network. |
