Free Speech Cubes

Two pairs of Free Speech cubes have been installed in front of the Performing Arts Center in advance of the Year of Democracy's kick-off event, Constitution Day, Sept.17 at 10 a.m. The cubes were built by college carpenter Spencer Thompson and finished with chalk board paint by college painter Mark Clements. Organizers of the Year of Democracy will post a new question each week, and then wipe the cubes clean every Monday to make way for more comments.
