Chemistry

The Chemistry Program at Moorpark College is dedicated to the success of all its students.  We offer the opportunity to excel in Chemistry by providing the latest technology and information in both the lecture and laboratory settings.  A comprehensive set of undergraduate courses fulfill the general education and transfer requirements of students through day, evening, weekend, and late-start offerings as well as a hybrid online/onsite Introductory Chemistry course.  Students may obtain an AA/AS degree in Chemistry.  Opportunities await the chemist in such fields as pharmaceuticals, petroleum, polymers, metals, electrochemistry, nanotechnology, aerospace, paper, food, business, and education.  For more information, please click on the Department Home Page.
