Contacting the Help Desk

Telephone - Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm:

 The Help Desk telephone number is 805-553-4660 or x4660 on campus. You can assist the Help Desk staff by being prepared to answer the following questions:

* Your name
* Your telephone number
* Your location
* The serial number and asset tag information of your computer

*A complete description of your problem or your question. Please be as specific as possible, include the application you are using and any error messages.

If it is not possible to resolve your problem over the telephone you will be given an incident number. Please save this number. If it is necessary to contact the Help Desk about your incident it will assist the staff to quickly locate your incident.

Please be as specific as possible, include the application you are using and any error messages. You will be emailed an incident number. Please save this number. If it is necessary to contact the Help Desk about your incident it will assist the staff to quickly locate your incident.

Walk-in - Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm:

The Help Desk located in LLR109. You may also bring your problem or question to the Help Desk. Please be as specific as possible, include the application you are using and any error messages. You will be given an work order number by the staff member on duty. Please save this number. If it is necessary to contact the Help Desk about your work order it will assist the staff to quickly locate your work order.
