Program Purpose:

Students who complete Art courses will develop strong foundation level art practices with a variety of medium and techniques. Courses will stimulate conceptual thinking and critical analysis through direct application and experience, as well as foster an understanding of art within history and culture.

 

Degree in Art:

Students completing the Associate of Arts Degree in Art will be able to:

• Utilize a variety of artistic mediums and techniques.
• Demonstrate conceptual thinking and critical analysis through direct application and experience.
• Demonstrate an understanding of art within history and culture.\
