Attention Students and Parents!
Join us on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm for assistance with the 2017-2018 FAFSA application, the California Dream Act Application, and the Chafee Application.
Our Financial Aid Staff will assist students and parents with applications in English and Spanish.
Information to bring with you: Student/Parent Tax Information for 2015, Social Security numbers for students/parents, and other income information for students/parents.
Registration begins at 9:00 am sharp in the Fountain Hall Atrium, break out sessions in Fountain Hall and the lower level of the library begin every hour.
This year, students began submitting the 2017-2018 FAFSA or California Dream Act application starting October 1, 2016, three months earlier than the January 1 date from previous years. In addition to this change, tax information from one year earlier than previously required will be used to determine financial aid eligibility. For the 2017-2018 school year, this means that students and their families will be required to use 2015 tax information on the application.
The priority filing deadline will remain March 2nd each year, and we strongly encourage students to file their FAFSA or Dream Act application prior to this date. Filing after March 2, 2017 can adversely affect eligibility for funding in the 2017-2018 school year.
