The Student Activities Office is headed by MC Student Activities Specialist Kristen Robinson. An alumna of the Ventura County Community College District, Kristen played intercollegiate volleyball for Ventura College's Lady Pirates before transferring to UC Santa Barbara to earn her Sociology degree. She continued with her education at California Lutheran University, where she received her MS in Counseling and Guidance with an emphasis in College Student Personnel. Kristen spent 9 years working in Student Affairs for UC Santa Barbara's Bren School of Environmental Science & Management before returning to the community college setting. In addition to advocating for students and providing mentorship and personal development opportunities, her interests include visiting California's historical landmarks, scrolling through images of famous cats on Instagram, meandering through any type of gift shop, and challenging herself on some of the local hiking trails.
