Eligibility
In order to quality and be eligible for EOPS, a student must meet all the following conditions:
< Be a resident of California
< Be a full-time student (12 units or more)
< Have completed less than 70 degree applicable units or, has not completed six semesters of EOPS
< Meet any one of the following EOPS educational criteria:
§ Non high school graduate
§ High school G.P.A. below 2.50
§ Been previously enrolled in remedial courses
§ Not eligible to enroll in Math 1
§ Not eligible to enroll in Eng. 2
§ First generation college student
§ From a non-English speaking family
§ Be a member of an underrepresented group
< Be eligible to receive a Board of Governor’s Waiver (BOGW) A or B.
BOGW A: Student must be currently receiving one of the following:
TANF/CALWORKS, SSI, General Relief or be eligible for
Deceased/Disabled Veteran’s Dependent Fee Waiver
Or
BOGW B: Student must meet the following BOGW Income
