Poetry and Performance

The Read

The Read is a poetry reading featuring guest poets, faculty poets, Moorpark College Allumni and Moorpark College students.  It was created by Professor Sandra Hunter, who continues to produce and direct the event.

Poetry Workshop

Before each performance of The Read, there is a Poetry Workshop open to the public.  Workshops are held in LLR 318 at 4:00 on the dates of each Read.

 Razor Babes

Razor Babes are a group of poets who perform their work at regional events.
