Poetry and Creative Writing Workshops
Inner-Words: Find Your Voice through Writing. These creative writing sessions are open to anyone and aimed at helping participants uncover the voices within them--the silenced words that need to be heard. The session is facilitated by Kathryn Adams, Ed. D. and is open to the public. Veterans' Writing Workshop. These writing sessions are open to current or former military (U.S. or global), family or loved-ones of military. While writing prompts and activities do not intentionally focus on these experience, the Veterans' writing Workshop is a place where military can feel comfortable sharing whatever the writing brings. Writing as Performance...
The Read is a poetry reading that features guest poets, faculty poets, Moorpark College Allumni and Moorpark College students. It is funded through a grant from Poets and Writers.
