Libraries house, protect, and promote the record of human endeavor. The Moorpark College Library must keep its collection strong in many subject areas in order to attract and serve faculty, students, and community members. The Moorpark College Foundation Honor with Books program is a substantive and lasting way to celebrate a graduation, anniversary, or birthday...or to memorialize someone. All gifts are tax deductible, 100% goes to the library materials fund.

Honor with Books is a thoughtful and convenient way to honor others. Perhaps most important, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping build and maintain the collection of a major resource in Ventura County.

How Honor with Books Works

After you have selected the book(s) you would like to purchase for the library, choose an inscription for the bookplate. The bookplate will be inscribed and placed inside the book's front cover. A Moorpark College Foundation receipt and a photocopy of the bookplate will be mailed to you. Notification of your gift can also be sent to the honoree or the honoree's family.
