Steps To Apply To The CSU
Step 1 - Get transcripts from ALL colleges and universities you have attended - even if no course work was completed.
Step 2 - Click here to apply online to the CSU
Step 3 - Submit your official transcripts - Once a student has submitted their application, they will be required to sent transcripts. Students who have applied to the CSU for the fall semester/quarter will be required to submit their first set of official transcripts after fall grades are posted.
San Diego State University will require transfer applicants to submit an application update online. Student will not send their official transcripts until directed to do so by SDSU. Deadline to complete your SDSU fall 2009 application update online is January 23, 2009.
Step 4 - Admissions Notifications - Most campuses will send admissions notices beginning late March - early April.
Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) - Some CSU campuses require students to submit a statement of intent to register, in particular: Cal Poly Pomona, CSU Long Beach, and San Diego State. The universities will typically require a SIR processing fee to be submitted with the SIR - this fee varies from campus to campus.
