Articulation Agreement Between

Ventura County Community College District And

The Chicago School of Professional Psychology


Ventura County Community College District (VCCCD) and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP) hereby agree that current or former VCCCD students who have successfully met the qualifying criteria (stated below) for the Articulation Agreement, shall be guaranteed admission into the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology program offered by TCSPP.

  1. Bachelor of Arts in Psychology program applicants shall meet either of the following admission criteria:


    1. Submit official Moorpark College, Oxnard College, and/or Ventura College transcripts for course-by-course evaluation for the specific General Education requirements outlined in the TCSPP Academic Catalog. All transfer coursework must be completed with a grade of ā€œCā€ or higher from a regionally accredited college or university; OR


    2. Submit official transcripts showing conferred Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degrees or an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) (minimum of 60 semester units and a GPA of 2.0) listed on Exhibit A: Qualifying Associate Degrees offered at one or more of the three member colleges within the VCCCD, including Moorpark College, Oxnard College, and Ventura College.


  2. All VCCCD students who transfer to TCSPP shall be held to all admission requirements and academic policies as outlined in TCSPP Student Handbook and TCSPP Student Catalog. This includes, but is not limited to, completion of all graduation requirements for degree conferral.


  3. All VCCCD students meeting the TCSPP admission requirements listed above are eligible for partner rate of 10% off the bachelor tuition rate.


  4. Term and Termination: VCCCD students shall have through the October 2017 enrollment cycle to seek admission under the terms of this Agreement, whereby it shall immediately terminate. The term of this Agreement may be extended only by the written Agreement of both parties. Either party may terminate this

Agreement at any time for any reason without penalty or further obligation by giving the other party ninety (90) days written notice; however, both parties understand and agree that any written commitments made to VCCCD transfer students hereunder shall survive termination of this Agreement.


IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Agreement pursuant to the terms and conditions outlined herein as of the date set forth below.
