The Learning Center offers free workshops.  Reservations are not required.

The Math Center offer workshops for everything from reviews of math basics to preparations for courses beyond transfer.  Check out the schedule of Math Workshops , or stop by LLR 322.

The Writing Center offers workshops on writing skills required for courses across the curriculum: Spring 2018 schedule. We also offer ESL tutoring each semester: Spring 2018 ESL workshops and tutoring. From sessions on the Top Grammar Errors to sessions on Writing Transfer Essays, there is a wide variety of workshops available each month. To see the Writing Center Workshop schedule, click this link or stop by the Writing Center.

The Teaching and Learning Center, in partnership with the Writing Center, provides workshops that help students excel in college courses.  Topics include:

  • Coping with Stress (In conjunction with the Student Health Center)
