Steps to participate in CalWORKs:

To become a Moorpark College CalWORKs student: 

STEP 1: Become a student at Moorpark College by filling out an

Application.  You may apply online here: Application for Admission.

STEP 2: Log onto to the student portal myvcccd.edu.

STEP3: For Math and English course placement follow the Self Placement Guides.

STEP 4: Complete a New Student Orientation online or in person (805)378-1428

STEP 5: Register for classes. Log onto MyVCCCD.

 STEP 6: Call for an INTAKE with a Moorpark College CalWORKs Counselor or Coordinator 805-378-1400 x 1889 or 1894.

Bring with you an Intake Form and Welfare to Work Plan (speak to your case worker) and/or Verification that you are receiving cash aid (TANF). Speak to your case worker about joining CalWORKs.
