Emergencies
To report an emergency, notify Campus Police/Dispatch at extension 1455. Emergency phones are available in parking lots A, B, C, the observatory lot and in front of the Campus Police Office. Pay phones are also capable of contacting Campus Police/Dispatch.
First Aid
If a student has been injured on campus and is able to walk to the Health Center, the nursing staff will be happy to evaluate and treat the injury. If a student is injured or becomes ill while on campus and is not able to come to the Health Center, the nursing staff will respond to the student's location. If a nurse is needed to respond to a particular location call extension 1413. College- related student accidents need to be reported within 72 hours of occurence. The Student Health Center will help students complete accident reports and insurance claims.
Psychological Assistance
On-campus personal counseling, crisis intervention, and referral are available. Call the Student Health Center at (805) 378-1413 or visit us in the Administration Building, Room 111. Further assistance can be obtained from the following:
