This program is an interdisciplinary program that connects students across a wide range of disciplines, including business, art, graphic design, programming, performing arts, journalism, music, radio, and television. With the development of software/hardware technology that can display motion graphics and the realization of a graphical user interface for the Internet, millions of people all over the globe are regular users of a medium that is earning billions of dollars annually.
This program is designed for students to acquire the skills necessary to enter the very competitive profession of photography. Instruction is provided in both black and white and color photography, along with mastery of the latest equipment.
The Journalism major program has a twofold purpose: to provide preparation for careers in newspaper and magazine editorial work, television and radio news, public relations and to provide a study of the media of mass communications.
