Saturdays in April: Extended campus tours and presentations will be offered on Saturdays in April for admitted and prospective students and their families. Tours will be offered every Saturday in April at 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. excluding April 12, which is the UCSB Spring Insight Open House event. Presentations will be offered on Saturdays in April (excluding April 12) at 11 a.m. and 1p.m. Register Now

Celebrate UCI 2014

Come to celebration UCI. This spring event features an outdoor festival, open house and car show. Wayzgoose, UCI's oldest tradition, is a student run festival in Aldrich Park - filled with live entertainment, food, games, and rides for UCI and the community. Many offices and services will be open or available with information for everyone especially prospective students. This includes academic program information and sessions; campus, housing and recreation facilities tours; Financial Aid and Admissions; and much more.

the largest private art and design school in the US—located in san Francisco, will be hosting an Open House in Los Angeles. This is a great opportunity for students and families to learn more about AAU’s 23 visual arts and design majors, opportunities, and resources the school has to offer. Summer Research at Caltech
Caltech is excited to announce a summer research opportunity available
to continuing undergraduate students. Questions about the program can be

MURF UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS
The MURF program aims to increase the participation of underrepresented
students (such as African American, Hispanic, and Native American;
females who are underrepresented in their discipline; or
first-generation college students) in science and engineering Ph.D. or
M.D./Ph.D. programs and to make Caltech's programs more visible to
students not traditionally exposed to Caltech.
Eligibility: Students must be current sophomores through non-graduating
seniors and must be U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents. A minimum
GPA of 3.2 is required.
Competitive applicants will have completed sophomore-level courses in
desired research field, have demonstrated through academic and/or
co-curricular activities a passion for research, and can articulate how
their research interests align with Caltech's research areas. The most
competitive applicants will have prior research experience.
Support: MURF students will receive a $6000 award for the ten-week
program. An additional $500 housing and travel supplement will be

SURF SUMMER RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS
SURF program at Caltech, the Summer Research Fellowship. Several students from Moorpark College have participated in SURF both at Caltech and at JPL.

This webpage lists all programs. Click on SURF, then select "Program Description" (in the bottom row) to find out more about the program. Students will need to look at the "Announcement of Opportunities" page once faculty and JPL staff start listing possible research opportunities and, of course, the FAQs page is very helpful.
This webpage also has links to the JPL and NASA summer programs including JPL Summer Internship Program and NASA's Planetary Geology and Geophysics Undergraduate Research Program (PGGURP).
Also, these are paid fellowships/internships and JPL is less than an hours drive away from Moorpark College.
