CLO List for Faculty Syllabi
Course syllabi must include the course learning outcomes. You can find the most recent outcomes on this CLO list for Fall 2023. You may also want to include your course objectives, though they are not required. You can find those on the course outline of record. If you include both, make sure to have distinct headings for each category.
Overview
Every year by May 1st, faculty must review and analyze 20% of their courses and 100% of degrees and certificates in their discipline. Over five years, all courses will be reviewed. Assessment data from each academic year is kept in dashboards in Tableau. Analysis data is kept in a SharePoint spreadsheet with the Division of Institutional Effectiveness. Every spring semester, lead discipline faculty have the option to meet with the SLO Coordinator and the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness to complete this process.
SLO Data
SLO Assessment data includes both Course and Program aggregated and disaggregated performance results. ILO Assessment data includes disaggregated performance results based on ethnicity.
Analysis Reports
Student Learning Outcomes reports include the colleges’ analyses of its course, program, student services, and institutional learning outcomes.
