Welcome to Moorpark College! It begins with the CCCStart Application process. Starting college is an exciting time, but there can be a lot to keep track of. We’re here to make the process easier and help you get ready.

Use the steps below to stay on track with your enrollment. You can also visit the Program Mapper to explore our programs, degrees, and course requirements.

Identity Verification

Verifying your identity is required. To help keep student information secure, the California Community Colleges works with CA DMV and ID.me to verify identities. You can complete the verification process online through either option, or you can verify your identity in person at Moorpark College.

Your application will not be processed until your identity is verified. For more information, please visit our Identity Verification page.

If you are under the age of 18 when you submit your application, you will not need to verify your identity.

Social Security Number (SSN)/ TIN/ Tax ID
High School Transcripts (if you have them)

Complete identity verification. For more information, please visit our Identity Verification webpage.
Look out for a "Welcome Email" with your Student ID and instructions on how to activate your MyVCCCD portal.

If you do not receive your “Welcome Email” within 3 business days of completing identity verification and submitting your CCCStart application, please contact mcadmissions@vcccd.edu or submit an Admissions Support Request for assistance.

Dual enrollment allows K-12 students to earn units toward certificates or degrees, may be transferrable to a four-year university, and may count toward a high school diploma.

Starting the Dual Enrollment Journey

Submit CCCStart Application to Moorpark College.

An application for admission is only required if this is your first time taking classes at Moorpark College or if it has been more than two semesters since you last attended.

Be sure to use a personal email address - not a school email.
Look out for a "Welcome Email" with your Student ID and instructions on how to activate your MyVCCCD portal.

To join the International Student Program at Moorpark College, you will need to submit personal information, upload required documents, and provide your foreign address.

When selecting your Citizenship and/or Visa type when filling out your CCCStart application, select "STUDENT VISA (F-1)" regardless of your current status.
