HOLIDAY "PEPPERMINT TWIST" LUNCHEON 2012	12/11/12	11:30am-1pm	Campus Center Dining Hall	SAVE THE DATE 2012! To be catered by Famous Dave's! This event is co-sponsored by Associated Students. Donations are currently being accepted for our Silent Auction, Chance Drawing and for the Door Prizes. We need volunteers! If you are interested, please contact Maureen Rauchfuss by email at mrauchfuss@vcccd.edu or by phone (805) 378-1531. Do you have a fabulous dessert that you would like to share with everyone?! Please bring it with you to the luncheon! We are also collecting canned goods for the local food pantries. For every canned good item you bring in, you will receive an extra Chance Drawing ticket!

Classified Senate will provide the paper goods and drinks - you'll bring the food - and we'll all have a a great time! We’ll also have birthday cake and be celebrating the January – February – March Classified employees birthdays!!

Annual Holiday Luncheon 2010 MISTLETOE & MARTINELLI'S	Thursday, December 9, 2010	11:30am - 1pm	Campus Center Dining Hall	Save the Date! To be catered by Famous Dave's! This event is co-sponsored by Associated Students. As always, this event was extremely successful! This year, we decided to include an item in our Silent Auction that had no detail attached to it. The item was covered up and hints were given throughout the event. Bidders bid at their own risk; however, they came out winners because the basket was for an evening get-away for two with dinner and goodies! We were given an unbelievable donation of a Disneyland Basket by County Schools Federal Credit Union. Inside the basket were four (4) Disneyland Hopper Tickets, $300 Gift Card, and two plush animals. This item was our biggest Silent Auction item yet! THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS AWESOME DONATION! We were also able to collect over 200 canned good items this year for our local food pantry. Linda Vickers graciously brings our collected items to the pantry every year, thanks Linda!
See's Candies Winter Fundraiser	Collecting orders thru Friday, 11/19/10			SEE'S CANDIES... YUM! Why wait in line at the mall when you can buy your holiday chocolate through the Classified Senate? Just fill out the form and submit your payment to the Classified Senate by Friday, November 19 (don't forget to add 8.25% sales tax). Please allow 7-14 days for delivery. Items were distributed during our Holiday Luncheon. Thank you to everyone that purchased candy in support of the Classified Senate. Look forward to another fundraiser for Easter!
Halloween Potluck & Costume Contest	Wednesday, 10/27	12-1pm	CCCR-A	Please join us for some ghoulish get-ups, freaky fun, and frightening food! Contact Kim Watters x1412 with your potluck contribution! Don't forget to wear your best Halloween costume. Prizes will go to the best department and the best individual! This event was well attended and successful! We had a lot of great costumes and wonderful eats! This will be an annual event! SOME PICTURES OF THE PARTICIPANTS AND WINNERS!

Campus Cookbook - CALL FOR RECIPES				Recipes are now being accepted for our very first Moorpark College Campus Cookbook. Staff, students, faculty, managers, and administrators are all welcomed to participate. Please fill-out the Recipe Submission Form and send it to Allam Elhussini by February 26, 2010. Once the recipes have been collected and organized, they will be bound and ready for sale! Proceeds will benefit future scholarships for students and classified staff as well as future Classified Senate sponsored activities. Thank you for your support!
See's Candies Candy Bar Fundraiser(flyer)				CHOC-O-LATE! The bars have arrived, just in time for Valentine's Day too! To purchase a candy bar, please visit your division/department. If they are sold out, please stop by Donna Santschi's office, she's got lots! Each candy bar is $1.50. Proceeds will go to the Classified Senate. As always, thanks for your support!
Annual Staff Holiday Luncheon	Thursday, December 10, 2009	11:30 am - 1 pm	Dining Hall	This was a very successful event. We raised over $1,550 in our Silent Auction and Chance Raffle purchases. The food from Famous Dave's was phenomenal. Their servers were amazing and friendly! Fantastic job Famous Dave's! We had so many door prizes, that almost everyone walked away with something. Thanks to everyone who contributed in some way to making this event a very special one. We also collected over 160 non-perishable canned goods to go to a local food pantry. Thank you Linda Vickers for coordinating the delivery of these items.
