 Open Lab:
The Career Transfer Center will be assisting students with their applications on Wednesdays from 2pm - 4pm.  If you cannot attend any of the workshops please come during open lab and we will help you.

Transfer and Admission Essay Workshops at Moorpark College Writing Center 

 

Transfer Essay Faculty Consultations: Moorpark College Faculty from a variety of disciplines will be available for 20 minute consultations on student transfer essay. Space is limited so appointments are required (only 1 appointment per student). Participants should bring drafts of their essays.

These sessions will be offered on the following days and times:

• Tuesday, November 10 5:00 – 7:00

• Monday, November 16 4:00 – 6:00

Procrastinator’s Saturday Session: This will be a 3 hour session in which participants will (1) learn the expectations of a transfer essay, (2) draft ideas, (3) develop an essay, and (4) work individually with tutors on refining.

Suggestion for Transfer Applicants:
