Work. Kids. Life. College. Only 24 hours in a day. We know it’s not easy, so we created PACE.
PACE is a college program designed for busy adults that enables you to complete an Associate degree in about two years. PACE students take two courses every eight weeks with most courses offered 100% online. You'll get priority access to enroll in PACE courses and exclusive access to our PACE counselors to help you pick the right courses and stay on track.

Once you complete your Associate degree, you have the option to pursue your Bachelor’s degree at one of our transfer partner Universities that also have programs built for busy adults, including CSU Channel Islands, Cal Lutheran University, and more.
Applying to PACE takes THREE easy steps:
Complete a Moorpark College Application [CLICK HERE]
If you’re a current Moorpark student, you can skip this step. If you have not attended for at least two (2) consecutive semesters, you must reapply to Moorpark. A current college application must be on file in order to move forward with any campus program.
Meet with a PACE Counselor
We’ll reach out to you after you submit your application for scheduling.
Meet in-person, online or by phone to discuss your goals, create an education plan and register for classes - especially if you want to transfer to a University after PACE.
*Important - Make sure to send us all your official transcripts from other colleges so we can give you credit for completed college courses. Please request official transcripts from any outside college institution and send to the Moorpark Admissions and Records Office. Coursework must be evaluated to determine whether it is applicable or transferable. You must request an evaluation as this is not an automatic process.
Ok, there’s actually a STEP FOUR. It’s optional, but we strongly recommend it:
Complete your FAFSA to see what financial aid you qualify for [CLICK HERE]
Most of our students don’t pay any tuition.
And even if you don’t qualify, our enrollment fees are very affordable at $46 per unit for CA residents (or about $1,380 per year). If you need help filling out the FAFSA, contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
ONE MORE THING:
If you're not familiar with Moorpark College here's a quick fact:
Moorpark College ranks #1 of 114 community colleges in California for completion of degrees and transfers.
