The primary purpose of the Career Transfer Center is to provide services that assist students in choosing majors and careers. Services include major and career exploration, researching job and internship opportunities, assessments, workshops and counseling. The Center also hosts events such as the Career & Internship Expo and the Transfer Social.

Registration is now open on Ventura County Works, our online career management system. Please visit https://vcccd-csm.symplicity.com/employers/ to create an "Employer Account." Once your "Employer Account" is set-up, you will see the Career Expo listed under "Events" - "Career Fairs." Registration for this event is free for standard/corporate organizations and for non-profits/gov't organizations. The registration includes a table for two representatives, parking, and lunch. EVENTS and ACTIVITIES

The Career Transfer Center hosts several events throughout the year.

CAREER WEEK:
Career Week is a week-long event intended to bring Moorpark College students and employers together for informative discussions regarding career paths, as well as introducing regional high school students to the academic and career options available. Students will discover and explore career paths, while connecting with industry professionals and recruiters.

CAREER & INTERNSHIP EXPO:
The Career & Internship Expo takes place in Raider Quad and connects students with employers. The event is held as part of Career Week.

TRANSFER DAY & SOCIAL: It's an exciting time of the academic year when students celebrate their end at Moorpark College and the start of the next chapter. Raider Walk is the place to be for ice cream & fun!
