The drop deadlines for classes vary depending on the length of the class. It is the student’s responsibility to drop or withdraw from a class by the deadline dates published on the Student Schedule/Bill in My.VCCCD.
The deadline to drop with a refund is at 10% of course contact hours and the course specific date is published on the Student Schedule/Bill in My.VCCCD.
Students who withdraw or are withdrawn prior to 20% of the course contact hours will have no notation on their permanent record.
Students who withdraw or are withdrawn for lack of attendance between 20% and 75% of course contact hours will have a “W” posted to the permanent record. Students can drop courses via the CVC Exchange up until the last date to drop with a “W”.
Withdrawal after the 75% of course contact hours cannot be processed as the permanent record must reflect a grade other than a "W". If there are circumstances beyond the student's control a request for Excused Withdrawal may be considered.

Your onboarding link for the My.VCCCD student portal was sent in your enrollment acceptance email along with your student ID number. If the 20 day link expiration has passed contact email@example.com with your student ID number for a new live link.
