Join us on September 16 as the Moorpark College community comes together to commemorate the September 11 anniversary through a day of remembrance and service. Together, we will remember the lives impacted by the events of September 11, honor the bravery and sacrifice of first responders, service members, and others, participate in a Student Day of Service, and conclude with a commemorative walk.

- Student volunteers will assemble care packages for For The Troops, supporting U.S. military members serving overseas.

Commemorative Walk (honoring those who were lost)
- Join the campus community for a commemorative walk at 11:00 a.m. on September 16, beginning in front of the Campus Center. The self-guided, 1.1-mile walking route will remain available for approximately one week following the event, allowing participants to complete it at their convenience.
- Follow the designated path throughout campus to reflect, remember, and honor those affected by the events of September 11.
