Weekday Field Trips are back!

Enhance your students’ learning with a field trip where the Zoo is your living classroom! Field trips to America's Teaching Zoo can be used to reinforce any science concepts you may be teaching in the classroom and our presentations support the NGSS adopted by the State of California. Science can be fun, especially when live animals are involved!

We offer field trips four days per week at 10:30 am. The presentation lasts approximately 30 minutes and is followed by a tour of the zoo. We station our students at all the major exhibits with touchable items that will allow your students  hands-on opportunities. You have 45 minutes to explore the zoo at your own pace.

The field trip fee is $5 per person and teachers are free. Teachers can also book a preview visit to the zoo and meet with one of our professional educators to make the most of their visit.*
