DEADLINE THURSDAY, AUGUST 31 AT 11:59 P.M.

The PSFL meets one Friday per month during the 2023-24 academic year from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The forum is facilitated by Moorpark College President Julius Sokenu. 

Each session is devoted to the study of extraordinary leaders across the various sectors of leadership: civic, business, politics, sports, etc.

At the conclusion of the year, students are eligible for a certificate of participation, recognition medal, and a letter of recommendation from President Sokenu.

If you are interested in the study of leadership and wish to participate in this year’s PSLF, you must:

1. Submit a letter of interest by email to  mcpresident@vcccd.edu by Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. along with a letter of reference from a high school or college instructor or counselor

2. Commit to attending at least eight of the nine class meetings 

3. Commit to reading all assigned material prior to each class meeting, and participating fully in all class discussions and in a class project.

Space is limited in this year’s PSLF. You are encouraged to apply immediately.
