Dr. Robert Sack is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY23839). He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychologist with an emphasis in Forensics from Alliant International University/ California School of Profession Psychology. He has experience working in clinic, private practice and forensic based organizations conducting therapy, psychological assessments and program development. His approach to treatment is eclectic, using Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Mindfulness and Family Systems theories to assist clients meet their goals. Dr. Sack provides individual, couples and family therapy. He specializes in working with teens, young adults and their family/support systems.
At Moorpark College, Dr. Sack provides support to the mental health team, assists in creating policy and producer, supervises the post-doctoral training program, and is the liaison to the Exotic Animal Training Management (EATM) program. As a liaison, he spends time interacting with the staff and students to provide proactive support for mental health needs that may arise.
When not working, Dr. Sack enjoys doing CrossFit, hiking and spending time with his wife and three children.
Dr. Jessica Fisher is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY30859). She earned her bachelor’s degree from Chapman University and her doctorate from Alliant International University, San Diego/ California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Fisher has experience working in residential treatment centers and private practice providing therapy, psychological assessments, program development, and supervision. She approaches therapy with a trauma informed lens taking into account individual and cultural factors to create collaborative treatment goals. Dr. Fisher utilizes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) when working with clients. She specializes is supporting individuals with intense emotions and trauma.
At Moorpark college Dr. Fisher provides services through the Student Health Center and is the liaison to the athletics department. As the program liaison Dr. Fisher spends time with the coaches, staff and student athletes to provide consultation and support for any mental health needs.
When not working, Dr. Fisher loves to spend her time outdoors hiking and walking with her dog. She also enjoys spending time cooking and baking with her husband.
Lauren is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). After completing her Bachelor’s in Psychology from The University of Washington, she received her Master’s in Social Work with a PPS credential from San Diego State University. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in private practice and schools, conducting therapy and providing clinical supervision.
Her approach is eclectic and genuine, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused and Family Systems theories to help clients collaboratively be the best version of themselves possible.
In her free time she enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, walking on the beach, visiting friends and spending time with her husband and their three teenagers.
Sophia Whyte is a Psychological Graduate Trainee at Moorpark College. She earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School, Los Angeles, and is currently pursuing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology. She has experience providing therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults who may be struggling with mental health concerns including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, ADHD, and life transitions.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is central to Sophia’s therapeutic approach and allows her to provide individualized care that is culturally responsive, inclusive, and fosters growth. Sophia is particularly passionate about supporting students navigating academic pressures, adjusting to life changes, and those struggling with personal challenges. She enjoys collaborating with students and discovering ways to support each client individually and holistically.
At Moorpark College, Sophia provides counseling services through the Student Health Center and is the embedded mental health provider at the Animal Care and Training Program (ANCT). She looks forward to welcoming new and returning students and supporting them as they navigate through the program!
In her free time, Sophia enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Bailey.
Jake Panikowski is a fourth-year student in the Psy.D. program at California Lutheran University. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University and his M.S. in Clinical Psychology from California Lutheran University. Jake has experience working in a community mental health clinic and private practice providing therapy and neuropsychological assessment. Jake utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when working with clients. His primary interests include anxiety and performance psychology.
At Moorpark College, Jake provides services through the Student Health Center and is a mental health provider embedded in the Athletics department. Here, Jake spends time with the coaches, staff, and student athletes to provide consultation and support of any mental health needs.
When not working, Jake enjoys playing sports (mainly golf), watching movies, and playing video games.
Diana is a third-year PsyD student at California Lutheran University. She earned her B.S. in Neuroscience and minored in Psychology at the University of California, Riverside. She has experience working with adults who suffer from anxiety disorders, panic attacks, depression, OCD, relationship concerns, disordered eating, and managing mental health in the context of chronic physical illness. She primarily uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and broader behavioral interventions to help individuals live in their values and achieve their goals.
At Moorpark College, Diana is excited to provide therapy services at the Student Health Center and be embedded in the Performing Arts program. She is happy to be a source of support for students, professors, and staff within the program via consultation and outreach. In addition to her work at Moorpark, Diana is also receiving training in cognitive assessment for children, teens, and adults.
When she is not working/studying, Diana enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies in theaters, reading, and going to concerts!
