Applied Cyberdefense & Network Operations
Thank you for your interest in the new Applied Cyberdefense & Network Operations Bachelor of Science Degree at Moorpark College.
The application for the Spring 2027 cohort closed on October 16, 2026. Applicants will be notified of acceptance, conditional acceptance (based on transcript review), waitlist or request to re-apply status in November 2026. Bachelor degree courses start in January 2027.
We will open applications again in the Spring for students starting Fall 2027.
The application assumes that you have already completed (or are near completion of) the required lower division General Education as well as six technical courses. Please see Program Eligibility below for details.
To prepare for the Spring application:
You will need a VCCCD email address and ID (900# or 901#). If you do not have one, please first apply to Moorpark College using Cybersecurity A.S. as your intended major (this will be changed to Applied Cyberdefense if accepted into the program).
Make an appointment with a Moorpark Academic Counselor to confirm that you have taken the correct prerequisites and will be a competitive candidate.
Complete the Academic Year 2027-2028 FAFSA to ensure eligibility for financial aid.
