Common Course Numbering (CCN)
As the result of Assembly Bill No. 111 (AB 111), the California Community Colleges have adopted a statewide numbering system through the Common Course Numbering (CCN) project. The CCN system provides a standardized set of course numbers and course titles across all California Community Colleges (CCC), ensuring that comparable courses have the same identifier, regardless of the college offering them. This process helps students identify transfer credits, reduce confusion and streamline the transfer process from CCC to four-year postsecondary educational institutions.
Below is the list of CCN courses at Moorpark, with the previous and new course information for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years. Each year, we anticipate that more courses will be added to CCN. If you have any questions, please contact your counselor.
