Counseling Appointments

  • Counseling appointments are available in person, by telephone, or through Zoom.
  • The Moorpark College Veterans Resource Center (VRC) provides personalized educational counseling to help veterans, active-duty service members, and eligible dependents achieve their academic and career goals.
  • Our VRC Counselors assist students in developing comprehensive educational plans and selecting courses that meet their degree or certificate requirements while maintaining eligibility for applicable VA educational benefits.

Educational Plan Requirements

  • Students using VA educational benefits must meet with a VRC Counselor each semester to review and update their educational plan.

  • Your educational plan helps ensure that the courses you register for meet your academic goals and applicable VA benefit certification requirements.

  • If you make changes to your class schedule, please contact your VRC Counselor to review and update your educational plan as needed.
