CA COVID-19 RENT RELIEF 

Applications are still open for the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief program! Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing Program (HPRP): Funds available to local residents who are currently homeless or facing homelessness from rental housing within 21 days. 805-385-8585

 

Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura (AHACV): Serves residents of Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Ojai, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and the unincorporated areas of Ventura County. Section 8, Public Housing, and Agency-Owned housing programs. (805) 480-9991

Ventura County Year-Round Homeless Shelters: Must have proof of a recent (within 60 days) and clear TB test. Disorderly persons will not be admitted to the shelters. Must also pass a National Sex Offender’s Public Records search.

RAIN Communities: Transitional Living Center in Camarillo. 16 rooms for families, 6 single rooms and several beds/room for residents with special circumstances. 

 

Salvation Army – Hope Center: Assists low-income individuals, families and the homeless through the provision of emergency short-term assistance, and provides information and/or referrals for continuing or long-term help.

 

Turning Point Foundation: Veteran’s transitional housing. Provides transitional housing with the goal of each Veteran obtaining permanent housing placement within six (6) months & extensions may be approved at the discretion of the V.A.
