Visit Moorpark College!

Campus Tours are led by our trained Student Ambassador team, made up of current Moorpark College (MC) students. The tours last approximately one hour and provide a general overview of MC and the services available to students. It is a walking tour. Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. 

Please note specialty areas such as The Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College, Athletic Facilities, and Nursing/Rad Tech labs are not included in the tour.

Starting Location

  • Prospective Student campus tours start in Fountain Hall Room 118 where a Student Ambassador will greet you.
  • Group/School tours start at the Bus Stop in LOT 20, our Student Ambassadors will meet you at the bus drop off at your designated tour time
  • Moorpark College Highlights (Saturday Program), an RSVP is required, details will be sent via confirmation email.

Tour Logistics

  • The tour covers the general campus (specialty areas such as  the Zoo, Athletic Facilities, and Nursing/Rad Tech labs are not included).
  • Tours last approximately 1 hour and involve walking—please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.

Parking

  • For guests driving personal vehicles, a $3 daily parking permit is required and can be purchased on our virtually on PaymyCite.com. Once you have purchased a virtual permit, we recommend parking in LOT 16 or 17.
  • Buses can drop off/ pick-up students/groups at the Bus Stop in LOT 20 then park in open space in LOT 18.
  • If you are driving a government vehicle, a parking permit is not required.

Dining on Campus

  • Dining on campus is limited — bringing a packed lunch is recommended (picnic areas available).
  • On-campus: L+T Catering food truck, vending machines, and Campus Center Bookstore (snacks).
  • Nearby: Subway & Starbucks (Campus Park Dr. & Collins) and In-N-Out, Del Taco, Panda Express (Los Angeles Ave.).
  • If you are interested in placing a catering order in advance with L+T Catering, we can connect you with owner, Peter Tshing. 

Chaperones

  • For visiting groups/schools, Outreach requires that you bring 1 chaperone for every 10 students. Chaperones are required to prevent students from wandering off, control student behavior, and emergencies.
