RTSP aims to provide support to marginalized students of color with a primary focus on uplifting Latine identifying students, from all across California, with assistance in planning, drafting, and submitting their UC application and Personal Insight Questions (PIQ) before the November 30th deadline. Students will have the opportunity to connect with current UCB students and campus resources. Students will also have the opportunity to have their PIQs reviewed by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

California Community College transfer virtual appointments allow you to meet with a UCI Transfer Admission Counselor in order to ask questions on a one-on-one basis. 

Appointments are for prospect transfer applicants who are California Community College students. We cannot advise on non-CCC coursework. You also must create a Transfer Admission Planner account to assist with the advising process.

Planning to transfer to UCSB? Register for a 15 minute transfer admission advising session. Review of transfer eligibility, UCSB TAG, major preparation, the UC application, and more are available.

MSMU offers the following transfer pathways:

• Traditional Undergraduate Program: Our traditional undergraduate transfer program is designed for non-nursing majors and women who wish to experience a traditional, full-time campus-based program. With over 40 majors and minors to choose from - and our ADT, IGETC and CSU Breadth acceptance - our traditional program is sure to have just what your students are looking for. Students can learn more by attending a virtual or in-person information session.
• Weekend/Evening & Online College: Our Weekend, Evening & Online College is a co-ed, undergraduate program taught in flexible modalities for busy adults. They can choose from 11 majors and create their schedules based on their needs, with courses offered in person and online. Students can learn more by attending a virtual or in-person information session.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing: Our highly selective BSN program directly admits students who have completed their prerequisite courses. Those looking to complete nursing prerequisites may transfer to our Pre-Nursing program. Students may contact a nursing admission counselor at nursingadmission@msmu.edu.
• International students can contact our international admission coordinator via email at international@msmu.edu regardless of their program of interest.

Our online Bachelor of Science in Management Degree Completion Program is unique because it does not have prerequisites (all majors are welcome to learn more), nor does it require business calculus or a lab with their natural science course. Also, eligible candidates may qualify for our TAG and Merit Scholarship.

The general admission criteria for transfer students are at least 24 transferable credits with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Students with less than 24 transferable credits should be prepared to submit high school credentials to meet the Freshman Admission Criteria for UNLV.  

Transferring from a California community college, your UNLV General Education coursework will be automatically waived if you have completed the certification requirements for either IGETC or Breadth, and the certification is reflected on your transcript.

The only exception is that all UNLV students do have to complete the Nevada Constitution Course, and students with Breadth certification also need to complete English 102: Composition II.

Transfer Student Events

 Transfer Visits are back for the fall!

The Office of Admissions and Campus Visitors Center will be hosting transfer visits on Fridays throughout the fall semester. Transfer visits include a campus tour, a transfer specific admissions presentation, and a personalized meeting with the student’s academic area of interest. Questions regarding visit opportunities can be directed to visituw@uwyo.edu.

Moorpark College Raiders!

We are excited to share an incredible opportunity available to Moorpark College students this fall! We will be taking students on a cultural and university tour to visit several Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), as well as museums and historical sites located in Washington, D.C., and surrounding states. 

Travel Dates:
We will depart the afternoon of Tuesday, October 7th, and return late Sunday night/early Monday morning, October 12th–13th. Please note that travel includes October 8th, a non-instructional day, to help minimize the amount of class time missed.

Cost:
This is a Moorpark College sponsored HBCU Tour (includes hotel, airfare, and meals-per district policy).

Trip Objectives:

• Learn how to select a college outside of your known experiences

Selection & Orientation:

Applications will be reviewed and notification of selected students will be sent by September 12th. If selected, please plan to attend a mandatory in-person orientation on Friday, October 3rd at Moorpark College from 12:00pm - 1:30pm Room: CCCR
