The BRC Bruin Bound Information Sessions are for incoming transfer students! Each program sessions will provide an overview of the program, resources and services available through the program and an opportunity to connect with currently enrolled students.
Below is an overview of the Bruin Resource Center with dates and times for each presentation. \
The Bruin Resource Center (or the BRC) is the home for a number of campus centers and programs that provide support to different student communities including students who have been part of the foster care and probation systems, students who are undocumented or a part of mixed-status families, parenting students and students who are taking care of other dependents such as siblings, students in recovery, students were formerly incarcerated or impacted by the carceral system, and students who have experienced houselessness.

📚 Transfer Fridays May 26
May 13, 20, 27 (Virtual)
Each Friday in the month of May, the Undergraduate Admissions Office will host a Next Steps Presentation and Q&A for admitted transfer students. We’ll discuss the UCSC campus, support services, and tips for how students will accept their offer in the portal. A different campus department will be highlighted every week: Financial Aid and Scholarships (May 6), Housing (May 13), Services for Transfer and Re-entry Students (STARS) (May 20) and Advising (May 27).
🚶Campus Walking Tours
We are currently fully booked for campus tours. We aim to open up some additional tours very soon. We will notify our admitted students via email when more tours are available. In the meantime, self-guided tours and a YouTube playlist of helpful videos are available to students and their families. See the Visit UCSC page for a full list of options. Please note that Group Tours for schools and other programs will not be available until fall 2022.
